1964 Standco Brake Lining Company

This is a high quality digital reproduction of an original 1964
product catalog for the Standco Brake Lining Company. It is 20
pages.  "Here's where it all started...Standco was born under the
shade of a tree in 1912 and had the grand total of 6 pieces of
machinery.  This machinery consisted of a No. 2 wash tub, a
clothes wringer, a couple of stove pipes, a back stand to hold
the asbestos tape, a hole in the ground and a piece of sheet
metal to cover the hole.  The asbestos tape was dragged
through the wash tub which held hot asphalt that had been
heated by a fire in the under-ground furnace, the tape (or brake
lining) was put through the wringer, then laid in the sun to dry."
